Shetland is for girls ages 5-6. This is a coach pitch division with optional batting tee.

Shetland is intended to be a beginners division for the purpose of introducing the sport of softball and teaching basic fundamentals.

Game scores will not be kept and all players bat each inning. Teams are formed by league officials, by school, if possible. All parents will be asked to participate at some level.
